She tuned her emotional antennae to get the feel of how they used their emotions to generate empathy with prospects.

Once she had recorded all of these actions, words and feelings she set to work to analyse the code that top performers used. She needed to understand exactly what it was that people who who are regarded as excellent essentially did and , the way that they actually did it.

She was astonished how paying more notice to her prospect and less attention to her own feelings helped her to relax. Just moving her focus of attention took the pressure off her. She was far more amazed at her success in winning new clients when she adopted their thinking patterns so as to influence them.
